I am unsure of the right hand item – the one with a raised stop.
I have scanned the Journal, electronically, and can find no reference to
its existence.
It is not mentioned in Gibbons, and none in Shipman.

The only
reference to this variety appears to be in the BNB Handbook v.1 p.267 and it is
very brief and refers to the 1 cent on 4c: “The full stop after cent varies
considerably in size and also position”.
There is a
further comment that “it seems clear that originally both the 4c and 5c sheets
were surcharged at the same time”, so it would seem that the raised stop occurs
in both overprints..
(The
handbook concentrates on the setting of the overprints and does not concern
itself with the position of minor overprint varieties, so the positions of
varieties like the raised stop are not identified).
