Envelope on Japanese WW2 stationery, from
the War Office of SEAC Royal Indian Army Service Corps, to UN office LONDON
(27.06.1946)
PMKS ON Reverse: (1) BOMBAY SIGNALS SDS
(18.06.46)
(2)
IN P.C.H. (D) IN (22.06)
Seller claimed cover from Borneo, which can
only mean Labuan, HQ of BBCAU;
I have a similar cover bearing these 2 pmks, plus
Jesselton, 21.03.1946
Questions
(a) Did this cover originate from British
Borneo?
(b) Further info on the two postmarks, and
the Indian Supply Platoon would be much appreciated. Thanks
