Query No. 22 BNB 1890 Postcard rates

In the Patrick Cassels sale on the 10 April at Spinks lot 63 was a North Borneo stationery postcard from Kudat to Vienna sent (I believe) 16 DEC 1890 received 19. 1. 91 with a message (which has been scratched out). It has received 'T' triangular mark (presumably kudat although it is somewhat different from Proud UP2 and predates it by a few years) and also a blue crayon '6' presumably indicating the postage due. The question is what was the postcard rate in 1890? The first rate table shown in Proud that mentions postcards dates from the 1st January 1891 when North Borneo joined the UPU, but as I understand it the 6c postal stationery card was issued in 1889 specifically for use to UPU countries outside the local area. Yours sincerely, Jon Higgins
